Dr. Kayla Wolofsky is currently a clinician-teacher at Toronto General Hospital and the University of Toronto. Her clinical duties include both General Internal Medicine and Palliative Care.She completed medical school at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Emory University. She graduated from the Harvard Interdisciplinary Palliative Care Fellowship where she trained at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.  Dr. Wolofsky's academic work focuses on the intersection of her  primary interests: general medicine, palliative care, global health and medically underserved populations.  Dr. Wolofsky has lectured internationally and nationally and has worked clinically in Ethiopia, Uganda, Peru, and for Indian Health Services in Arizona. She is interested in the clinical and policy aspects of palliative care for underserved populations around the world and would like to further explore barriers to introducing palliative care both locally and abroad.
